Kelly’s day started slowly, surrounded by her girls, with the kind of relaxed energy that usually sets the tone for everything that follows.
When we first met that day, I asked her if she wanted to take a few bridal portraits before the ceremony. She looked at me and said something I won’t forget:
"Andrew, I don’t want this kind of posing shit photography."
That pretty much defined how the day would be photographed.
So I stepped back. No directing, no staging, just letting things happen the way they naturally did.
Kelly & Sean planned their wedding to be simple and intimate. They wanted to spend the day with their closest people, without turning the wedding into a production.
Just their own space, their own rhythm, and everyone they care about being present.
Before the wedding, I asked Sean a question:
"When you look back at your wedding photos 20 years from now, what do you hope you’ll remember most?"
His answer was simple:
"How the photos captured the natural moments of everyone having the happiest of times, celebrating our love and family."
So that became the goal for the day, capturing those moments exactly as they happened. Nothing forced, nothing recreated. Just the real atmosphere of people coming together to celebrate Kelly & Sean.
